Course Content

Module 1
Software Introduction & Basic Pattern

Introduction to Garments CAD Software and understanding the user interface.

Hands-on practice with major software tools and their functions.

Using basic drawing tools for measurement and pattern creation

Creating the basic pant pattern (front and back parts)

Module 2
Pant Pattern & Style

Discussion on different pant styles (e.g., slim fit, regular fit) and pattern modification.

Creating patterns for pant pockets, fly, and belt loops.

Developing different types of waistband patterns and making fitting adjustments.

Finalizing the pant pattern and preparing for marker making.

Module 3
Shirt Pattern & Collar

Creating a basic shirt pattern (front, back, and sleeves).

Designing and making different types of collars (e.g., spread collar, point collar, band collar).

Developing collar components (stand, band) and assembly.

Integrating collar patterns with the shirt pattern and final checking.

Module 4
Shirt Pattern (Cuffs & Pockets)

Creating patterns for different types of cuffs (e.g., single cuff, double cuff).

Developing patterns for various shirt pocket designs.

Discussion on different shirt styles (e.g., dress shirt, casual shirt) and modifying patterns.
