1. Teacher Opening Script

“Welcome to Class 2. Today we will learn basic grammar that helps you speak correctly. We will practice four important sentence patterns: I am, I have, I live, I work.”

2. Vocabulary

Teacher reads. Student repeats.

3. Pattern 1: “I am …”

Teacher script:
“Use ‘I am’ for identity, feelings, or status.”

Examples (teacher reads, student repeats):

• “I am a Bangladeshi.”
• “I am a traveler.”
• “I am happy.”
• “I am excited.”
• “I am ready.”

4. Pattern 2: “I have …”

Teacher script:
“Use ‘I have’ for possession or personal things.”

Examples:

• “I have a passport.”
• “I have a ticket.”
• “I have a plan.”
• “I have a family.”
• “I have time.”

5. Pattern 3: “I live …”

Teacher script:
“Use ‘I live’ for your place or area.”

Examples:

• “I live in Dhaka.”
• “I live in Bangladesh.”
• “I live near the airport.”

6. Pattern 4: “I work …”

Examples:

• “I work in a company.”
• “I work in an office.”
• “I work hard.”

Teacher corrects mistakes immediately.

9. Role-Play: Meeting Someone New

Teacher reads script:

Person A: “Hello, who are you?”
Person B: “I am ______.”

Person A: “Where do you live?”
Person B: “I live ______.”

Person A: “Where do you work?”
Person B: “I work ______.”

Repeat twice.

10. Homework

Teacher reads:
“Write 10 sentences using today’s patterns. Practice speaking for 5 minutes.”
