Topic: Basic Self-Introduction for Travel

Objective:

  • Student will introduce themselves in 6–8 sentences.
  • Student will understand basic personal questions.
  1. Teacher Opening Script (Teacher reads exactly)

“Hello. Welcome to today’s English class. Today we will learn how to introduce ourselves in simple English. You will practice speaking slowly and clearly. Please repeat after me and speak with confidence.”

Teacher helps correct errors immediately.

“Please answer these simple questions.”

  4. Where will you travel?
  5. Why do you want to learn English?

Teacher corrects answers immediately.

  1. Pair Practice / Role-Play

(Teacher reads script.)

Teacher: “Now we will practice a role-play. I will be the foreign officer. You will be the traveler.”

Officer: “What is your name?”
(Student answers)

Officer: “Where are you from?”
(Student answers)

Officer: “Why are you visiting our country?”
(Student answers)

Repeat twice.

  1. Fluency Drill (5 minutes)

Teacher says:
“Speak your introduction continuously for one minute. Don’t stop. If you forget a word, just continue.”

Teacher listens and corrects.

  1. Homework

Teacher reads:
“Your homework is: Record a 1-minute introduction using today’s sentences. Listen to it two times and improve pronunciation.”
