Topic: Basic Self-Introduction for Travel

Objective:

• Student will introduce themselves in 6–8 sentences.
• Student will understand basic personal questions.

1. Teacher Opening Script (Teacher reads exactly)

“Hello. Welcome to today’s English class. Today we will learn how to introduce ourselves in simple English. You will practice speaking slowly and clearly. Please repeat after me and speak with confidence.”

2. Vocabulary (Teacher reads. Student repeats.)

Teacher says:
“Repeat after me one by one.”

3. Sentence Models (Teacher reads. Student repeats.)

1. “My name is ______.”
2. “I am from Bangladesh.”
3. “I live in ______.”
4. “I am going abroad.”
5. “I want to speak English confidently.”
6. “I want to travel easily.”
7. “I am learning English.”
8. “I practice every day.”

4. Guided Speaking (Teacher reads slowly)

“Now repeat each sentence after me three times.”

Teacher repeats each sentence 3 times.

5. Student Personal Speaking Template

Teacher says:
“Fill in the blanks and speak.”

“Hello, my name is ______.
I am from Bangladesh.
I live in ______.
I am going abroad to ______.
I want to explore the country easily.
I want to speak English confidently.
That is why I am learning English.”

Teacher helps correct errors immediately.

6. Basic Travel Questions (Teacher asks. Student answers.)

Teacher says:
“Please answer these simple questions.”

1. What is your name?
2. Where are you from?
3. Where do you live?
4. Where will you travel?
5. Why do you want to learn English?

Teacher corrects answers immediately.

7. Pair Practice / Role-Play

Teacher: “Now we will practice a role-play. I will be the foreign officer. You will be the traveler.”
